It is that time of year again folks. I have set up the fantasy football league for the upcoming NFL season. All 10 teams from last season have the right of first refusal for their teams. If everyone returns and there are enough other people that want to join, I will bump the league to 12 teams which was actually my first intention with the league but there wasn't enough interest last year. Post here if you want to be considered as a replacement owner (if anyone does not want to return) or a new team (if we have enough owners for 12 teams.

Right now the draft will be scheduled for Saturday, August 25th with a backup date of Saturday, September 1st. The draft will start at 8:00 pm Central time.

Football wouldn't be the same without watching my players fall to injuries like dominos again. Count me in!

If there's still space, I would love to join in with you guys this year. I missed out on Fantasy Football of any sort last year, so I've been itching to find a good group of people to join a league with.

And if there's more spots that need to be filled, I can definitely get my brother to jump in as well.

Can't wait for the season to start!
 
Just got confirmation that South Texas Herps is back in. That confirms 6 returners. We have 3 on the waiting list, so just need one more confirmed returner or a newb. I sent another email via ESPN indicating a Monday deadline.

RobbiesCornField, BloodyBaroness, and Michael823 shoot me a PM with your email address so I can set things up next Tuesday as needed. You will be inserted in order of response (the order I listed your names already) in the highest non-returning draft sport down.

I watched clips of the re-airing of that season from Hard Knocks, and that was one of the few moments I saw. He was sweating more trying to come up with his children's names than he does on the field (he seems to be quite a bit more productive off the field too, lol).

Hey Fred, you shouldn't have to do anything. Log in and double check that your account still works etc.

I've made the changes to teams and sent invites to the four new owners. Once they accept the invite and join we are ready to rock. Your team names can be changed once you have joined. Here's the draft order once again:

A reminder that the live draft is scheduled for Saturday, August 25th at 8:00 pm Central time. A backup date of Saturday, September 1st can be used if too many conflict with the 25th. If you are unable to attend the draft you can take the time to rank players at positions and the software will automatically draft for you. It isn't a perfect system, but it's better than nothing. I would recommend that you set up your rankings even if you are planning to attend the draft as you could have network problems the night of the draft and not be able to get in. It has happened to me before.
