This lil guy seemed to be in a hurry to come out into the world. He still had his umbilical cord attached, so I quickly separated him out to let it dry up and fall off. Still have a few left to pip.
Much lighter than the other anery a's, with black belly checks.
Darker in the body/ground color. They don't have the stark white, but a mid range gray. And my camera has gone AWOL. Still desperately trying to find it.
Yeah I would expect a more...hmmm..."subtle" mix, this one is pretty contrast-y (my new favorite word, thanks Josh) The other anery's are just what I expected to see. Snow's are looking good, but not a ghost in sight yet...
Any chance of an anery charcoal and charcoal comparison pic? I've just bred a granite het charcoal to a charcoal het anery diffused and am stumped haha
Beautiful little hatchie, OP, grey snakes are my favourite!
Remember, background coloration varies depending upon lineage as well. Charcoal-anery will look very different originating from a line that has an abundance of melanism as opposed to a line that doesn't (like Miami line-bred).
Dont mean to hijack but to add to the conversation..!!
Within a clutch can you id charcoal and anery charcoal clearly????
If you can does anyone have more pics..???
I love the comparison pics put up to help Chris are there more from other lines to help us all
Soooooooo I can seperate the anery and charcoal in the usual way....
And granite and pewter
But the question is anery pewter to pewter???? Has anyone hatched those with pictures ????
I have a clutch that has anery and charcoal.... But it appears the female was visually charcoal (not 100%) but amount of visuals points that way im not that lucky....
so there has to be (odds game) anery pewter in the clutch..!!!! I will wait for a shed before pics though..!!
How have you got on Chris???? Any you would define as anery charcoal???
The head seems to be the key point of difference. Aneries are stark black-white types, while the 'white' on a charcoal-anery is more of an off-white/gray.
