Oh that breaks my heart- You can tell he's obviously underfed and not taken care of just by how thin his tail is!
I would snatch that baby up in a heartbeat, the poor damn thing.
I hate getting on craigslist and seeing people not properly caring for their animals, and even worse when they have no knowledge to do so.

^^^^^^^^^^THIS is why I "rescue". I have seen corns in these kinds of conditions, I will try to bargain with them but many I usually just get for free once they know what kind of home I will be providing.

Daddio, I wish I knew something about geckos, but I don't, and it is just the viv for sale. I am thinking the gecko met his maker.

My Craigslist rescue is doing so much better--she's gained 36g so far. Thought I'd share some then and now pics.

Here she is the day I brought her home. (Ignore the number on the scale; it includes the tub. She was 188g.)

Just wanted to share a little happy news, since there's so much sad in this thread.
 
She looks in good weight now-just a bit more and she'll be perfect...I wouldn't get much more fat on her, just let her get muscle and feed at a normal rate of every 10-14 days. She's really a pretty girl!
 
Heat rock...wonderful......I'm not really worried about the feeding schedule...it's the same as my snakes but I feed weanling rats to the adults. The cat won't leave her alone part bothers me more!
 
Well chunky is not good either but at least it's better than starved... ahhh and sunglow would make sense...

but he's def "fluffy" btw it's all your faults that I've been reading stupid CL adds for the last hour... Last one I read is NSW and makes me wonder where this world is heading... (no I am no longer in the pets section)
