But I can ID with your being antsy, because it's barely been a month for a clutch I'm waiting on and I have to resist the urge to just look at them daily!! Also, I had 3 hatchlings last year break outta their eggs on the 45th day! (Maybe because I had the temp in the upper 80's?). So with the same snake parents maybe I'm getting my hopes up, but I'd rather wait longer and be more confident that the babies are healthy!!

Signs of hatching within about a week would be denting (don't increase humidity) and then maybe a couple days out, a sort of cucumber smell. You'll know it when you smell it. But those things don't always happen. I start checking once a day at about 55 days, and then twice a day at 60 or so. I try to restrain myself to twice a day.
Once you see the first slit- it's so amazing! It's like it's not really real till you see that first little nose. But then it can take a baby 24 hours to emerge! And constant checking only makes it take longer. I remove the moss covering when the first egg slits (and leave a couple little piles in the corner of the egg box, to give the hatchlings somewhere to gather so they aren't out plowing through the other slit eggs). Then I _try_ to restrict myself to checking/removing hatchlings to three times a day- before work, after work, before bed. It can take a couple three days for them all to emerge.
At 60 days- you're just at the beginning of the wait!! _Probably_ you'll have hatchlings by 70 days. But if you don't- don't freak out and start cutting eggs. Just be patient.

If Flea didn't bump this thread, I wouldn't have been the only one to have forgotten about your overdue clutch. :bomb: (Rumor has it that subconsciously but recently-forgotten memories have caused under-achievement and an inability to focus in teenagers and can produce unwanted bouts of gastrointestinal distress in adults - NOT GOOD if you're on an elevator going to the top floor in a high-rise residential or office building with others in the car with you!!! Especially dwarfs or short people who ESECIALLY hate flatulence in claustrophobic public places!!).

I've had tokay gecko eggs go 90 days, they can take up to 120 sometimes.
Rhacodactylus (Mniarogekko) chahoua can take up to 160 days, sometimes a tad longer. There are a few chameleon species that I believe push the 1 year mark for incubation time.
