Just like some people choose to cohab and powerfeed (or starve) their snakes, I choose NOT to restrictively quarantine and, get this . . . feed in the cage ON aspen bedding . . . and even sometimes am forced to use prekilled live food. :eek1:

That's it! This is grounds for banishment!! I SWEAR I read in the Terms of Use that this sort of behavior would not be tolerated, and would be immediately banned to prevent any infection of our newer members...:rofl:
FWIW...I feed my boa and my BP in their enclosures on coconut substrate. And most of my colubrids get fed in their enclosures, but I keep them on newspaper. And sometimes...I don't even pre-kill the prey, simply because I don't have enough time...Guess I should be banned, too!!:uhoh:

Whats all this malarky? Everyone knows I keep all my snakes togehter, in one small box. They love each others company. The boas especially like to nibble on the baby corns but thats ok, they don't need their tails.
Oh I also have respiratory infections spreading throughout all my snakes, It's ok though, Its only upper respiratory! Oh and the WC vipers coming will be put in with everyone else so they can share the parasites and mites and stuff. I just don't know how to quarantine... sombody help me?!

. . . and that's not the worst of it. Picture this . . . I just got in two brand new hatchlings yesterday, YESTERDAY!!! . . . offered them each a pinky today (cause it's scheduled feeding day). . . they ate it, can you believe it?!?!? Against all things holy they ate.
