I voted for Family Guy because Stewie is my HERO! But in reality I would watch which ever one wasn't showing a rerun.

That's your opinion, and I don't agree with it. South Park is humorous if you GET IT. If you don't turn around and watch Soap Operas... sheesh.

To clarify my prior post, Futurama is tops in my book, Simpsons and Family Guy tying for second.

I don't know what it is about South Park, but ever since I saw it for the first time, I've thought that the show is somehow beneath me. They've got talking poo for crying out loud. Overall I don't find it humorous at all, but I do believe that Matt Stone, and Trey Parker should have been raised better. The other shows listed occasionally have immature (IE toilet) humor, but overall, keep things on the up and up.

For the record, American Dad is also an awesome show. It is to Family Guy, what Futurama is to The Simpsons.

And I re-read your posts and you never said "I do believe".. maybe it's just that you posted once and after people said they like SP, you posted AGAIN bashing the show and saying Matt Stone and Trey Parker should have been raised better...

I've included my posts, with emphasis on the portions that clearly delineate my musings as personal opinion. The only opinion I stated as fact was that American Dad is awesome.

In your post you say that I don't get it, which I do, I just don't find puerile fart, child abuse, and sex jokes funny. You also said I should go watch soap operas, which is a fate worse than death. Thank you and good night.

One of my favorite SPs is "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset" where they really rip on Paris Hilton. Not sure why, since I am the only person in the world who doesn't despise her...

Paris Hilton reacted to the episode by saying, "I haven't seen it, but when people copy you, that's like the most flattering thing, so whatever people can say, I just laugh about it. It doesn't matter to me."

On the commentary of South Park's Greatest Hits Matt Stone states that when making fun of the celebrities, it's "not personal, just ripping on the idea of celebrity itself," but that this whole episode was "pretty much [starts with f] Paris Hilton." Trey Parker then says at the end of the commentary, "Paris Hilton, you are a dumb [b-word]."

Family Guy all the way! Love that show..I bought the first 5 volumes already..lol..Southpark does come to a close second and I guess Futurama would be third..I'm not really into Simpsons that much..Just never really got into them..

Yes, but can you see how you're your own worst enemy here. By saying that you consider something 'beneath' you, notice how people who like it would feel offended because that makes it sound like you think you're better than they are, especially since you sound incredibly pompous, just my opinion of course.

I like South Park, but Family Guy is my favourite, even the sound of Peter Griffin's voice makes me laugh. :D

I love cartoons!
samurai jack, venture brothers, aqua teen hunger force, batman, justice league, rocky and bullwinkle, futurama, robot chicken, sealab 2021, Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli, and angry beavers are all great. I'm sure I'm missing some.

Also, old school muppet show. I'll get season 2 as soon as my wallet recovers from boxing day.

I loathe family guy, South Park is ok but I find it hard to understand what they are saying, Futurama is funny, and Simpons just rocks.

But if I was going to watch ANY cartoon it's probably be Pinky and the Brain.

Trip down memory lane..hehehe

Anyone remember any of these shows?

-Magical World of David the Gnome
- Grimm's Fairy Tale Adventures
- Gem
- Back To the Future (cartoon)
- Noozles
- Jungle Cubs
- Vultron
- Wildfire (cartoon)
- Littl' Bits
- Space Rangers
- Gargoyles

I don't watch any of them on a regular basis, but I find that they each have a different appeal. I remember when the Simpsons started as shorts between skits on the Tracy Ullman Show and the guy who voices Homer (I can say his name, I just can't spell it) was one of the actors on her show. I think the woman who voices Bart was, too. I prefer the earlier seasons of SP and I think that unless you're in your thirties you may not understand many of the odd-ball references they make on Family Guy. Some of those go way back to things I remember from childhood. Futurama would be my least fave, mostly I'm not into the futuristic space thing, but I like some of the morality plays they've presented, like Bender as God. To each his own. I'd rather watch anime.

It's Voltron. And yep, one of my fave animes.

I remember Gem enough to know it's spelled Jem. Truly outrageous.
: D

I loved gargoyles. Let's add my little pony's, wuzzles, teenage mutant ninja turtles, and transformers to that list too. I love me my talking animals and giant robots.

What I find amusing about the quote above is this:

...you never said "I do believe"...

Yet when you look at your first response, to Dreqqus, you mentioned this:

Guess he didn't need to mention "I do believe" afterall...

BTW, I voted for Family Guy. I do believe that, in my opinion, it's the most entertaining.

Yes ,and, I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some, people out there in our nation don't have t.v.s and, uh, I believe that our, uh, televisions like such as, uh, TiVo and, uh, the Direct TV, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our Televisions over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Park and should help the Simpsons and the Family Guy, so we will be able to build up our future, for our children.

Sorry, sorry there's no hostility there just making fun of Miss SC and you. :)
