AZ/CA vacation photos

Around Here Somewhere....
Joe and I just returned from an almost two week vacation to California and Arizona. Spent time visiting family, doing the tourist thing, and even stopped in to meet a few CS members...
Thought I would start posting some photos as I get them edited.

First stop was Big Bear in California - hey - we had to go see the snow!!

And then to the other end of the spectrum - we stopped at Laguna Beach and Dana Point:

We also stopped by Vinny's while in Cali to visit and see his collection. (If I get any of these wrong Vinny - please correct me!):

The most awesome Indigo:

Still have a LOT more photos to edit so stay tuned!!

Wow! All that time you spend taking pictures of lizards can really pay off, I see! LOL! Nice shot! I imagine that lizard probably looks better in your photo than he did to the naked eye! I love how you picked up the blue in him.

LOL - that isn't even the first one we saw while we were hiking! That shot was from Joshua Tree National Park. I haven't gotten very far in my editing yet...waaaay toooo many photos to go through this time around!!

I love the Rosy Boa. Everybody loves the Indigo- I want to be different!
Loved the Indigo - can't be helped....but besides the Indigo, I was totally wanting to steal the hypo lav blood and the little cinder. That little cinder was the sweetest little snake!!
But the KSB had some amazingly wicked looking eyes!!

....continuing in Joshua Tree...
I had no idea what a large park it was or how beautiful it would be. Lots of wildflowers in bloom there as well as in AZ due to some rain they had received in Jan/Feb. What I thought would be just a short drive through Joshua Tree ended up being an all day adventure!

Don't know why I was frowning - wish Joe would've told me before he snapped the pic:

We then stopped in Goldfield again which is a revamped "ghost town" for tourists.

But the best thing about Goldfield is their reptile display!!
