Opal Blossoms

The photoshoot I've been dying to do all week has finally come! I couldn't have asked for a better turn out of pics in only 30 minutes of time, I'm so happy with them. Here's Kalenya the '06 Aztec Opal's latest pics. (Unfotunately without the pretty frames this time because my Adobe Photoshop CS2 Trial ran out :angry01:)

Wow, she looks soooo pretty in pink ;)

I can understand why you wanted to do that photo shoot, you got some fantastic photographs :)

Best wishes,

Thanks all! This is one of the few times of year that there are blossoms out of her shade that don't really drown out her color, so I've been waiting all yer for this. Unfortunately, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had the time for the shoot or for this site (literally a maximum of two hours of free time a day). Then I noticed that the blossoms were beginning to dissipate this weekend! So I made time, and I'm really glad I did.

Moral Of Story: If you haven't the time, go MAKE IT. :)

Awesome photo session! I know how difficult it can be to photograph the light colored snakes in full sunshine and you managed to get some great shots! If you're thinking about getting more while the blossoms last, try for a cloudy or overcast day.

How gorgeous! Is that a cherry? Plum? I need that tree for Pepper, it would match him perfectly! Kalenya looks like a princess!

I know, it's really insane how hard it is. I think for a few of those I was actually blocking some of the light with my hand to show the different hues. Unfortunately it's been either blindingly sunny here or just plain cold, and with the way my schedule is it's more of a matter of 'If it's warm and I have more than 15 minutes, I can do it.' I think I'm going to go ahead and do some more shots today with her, Freyja, and Tai, so I may have Collection post later with some more.

I think that if the one she's on isn't, then the trees in the background are cherry trees. It has the same color and flower as the others, though, so I think she is on a cherry. Unfortunately, they grow pretty tall, so you may have to look for a younger tree like I did. The ones that haven't begun sprouting leaves yet are the best, but the ones with the leaves are also nice if you like some deep saturation. I'll have to keep an eye out for Pepper's pics when you post them! ;)
