they seem quite similar, any side by side shots to show the differences between cinders and normals as hatchlings?
 
Actually there are some normals in those pics along with the Ashy Corns. Actually many of the normals that resulted from breeding Ashy to other cultivars tend to be pretty distinctive looking in coloration. Might just be from the locality influence, however. I get the same sort of results from anything bred to my Upper Keys stock. For instance, even the first generation of Blood Red x Upper Keys can be pretty spectacular looking.

Actually, the first name I remember seeing was "Z" anery...... I wonder why????:nyah:

Actually, I really don't believe EVERYONE ELSE in the world calls them "Cinders". There is a thread around here somewhere on why I felt "Ashy" fits them perfectly.
 
Any chance of seeing some of them mixed with some of the other morphs? I know you have to have them crossed into everything by now, any F2s hatching this year?

I got a 1.1 Upper Keys het "C" from your 'out of the egg' sale in '06. I expect the female to lay her eggs in about a week and hope to get a few from her clutch. Hopefully they'll like mice from the get go and not make me nuts with anoles for the 1st 6 months like mom and dad did! :crazy01:
