I had to pull out this guy and take some photos. I feel like I have been neglecting my Rosy boas of late.
The locality of this one is Hetmet.

Thanks, they are great, its a shame he wasn't in the mood to mate this year but to eat. Well maybe next year he might mate for me.

they are a great snake a little bity at times but once out of the cage he is fine.

Not bad, but if you carefully I had the hook there just in case. lol
These guys can be a bit nippy when they are hungry but once he has been handled a bit and out of the cage he is fine.

I should post pictures of the female some time this week. I need to get her outside and start taking some pictures as well.

He's so cool! I was just watching Snake Bytes TV, Fact or Fiction, and the question was is it fact or fiction that snakes have to be coiled to strike? So the guy opens his rosy boa bin and the snake just latches right onto him. Fiction!

Rosy Boas are by far the best of the boas (in my opinion of course!) He is an awesome fellow.

Doh!! It was the episode "Screwing Around," but I mis-identified the snake- it's a KSB.
