Yep, those are the ones my store is carrying too... I wonder if you take the latches off if they will still fit in the racks...
 
Crap! I talked to Ali and she said the 66 qt were not going to change. Here's what I ordered- I hope it's what's in the box! They've never been available in stores. I guess I should order another box, if they're the right ones.

If they have latches try popping them off and see if they fit... Let us know how it goes...
 
The new ones look exactly like that but have the latches on the ends. Taking the latches off will not work because there is a dip in the top of the plastic so the latch fits.

When I spoke with Ali she said the same thing but her info came from a Sterilite rep that failed to mention to her that the new line had latches too. You might want to to call and find out how far out your order is and make sure you can get your tubs before they make it.

Nanci, I would buy them while you can. I just got a new 1756/54 rack from AP and haven't been able to find tubs anywhere. They told me that not but a couple of weeks ago sterilite assured them that they weren't discontinuing those tubs - thus they went ahead and made my rack. By the time my rack was shipped to me, sterilite had discontinued them. I hit up ~15 different target stores in my area and not a single one had either size. I ended up having to order the 1756 online (1754 aren't even available online anymore), and Ali found some 1754 at their target that they're sending me. So luckily it's goiing to work out.

Seems to me sterilite is saying one thing and doing another. I would get them pronto just in case.
 
I've got one four-pack coming- I'll wait and see if those are the old ones. If so, I'll go ahead with the rack order and probably order two more sets so I can get one more rack. That will hold me a long time.
 
I just got an email from Ali at AP...they are probably going to start making the Economy Plastics rack in the Rubbermaid and Iris dimensions instead of using the new Sterilite tubs. Not that that helps any of us...just an FYI.
 
I just ordered another set of the old 66 qts and will order a fourth rack just to be safe.
 
I'm trying to order my rack--the same one you have Nanci--but paypal is giving me fits, as is my bank--arggggggggggggggggg! Why is it sometimes difficult to buy things?
