I got my Nikon D40 in earlier this week and started having some fun shooting the snakes. I'm still learning the ins and outs of it, and my skills still need a lot of work. But its already light years better than anything I've managed to take before.

First is Bamo (originally from Carol at Low Belly). He's the cleanest candycane I've ever seen.

Next is Pinny an amel stripe female. She was being shy.

Finally my male anery het lavender motley. I never named this guy for some reason. He has a very awesome silvery color to him.

Lovely pics Matt! I think they came out spectacular. You are 100% right about that Candycane... he is a stunner! Have any full boy shots?
