That's it! Thanks for looking!!

Very nice Drew! Spike has an awesome pattern, love it. Not sure if you "bloodred motley" is a bloodred or not, but it is a beautiful snake either way. I would imagine if it is a bloodred you should have paid a good price for it.

Yeah I don't know either....she has the gray head....and gray-ish sides that are starting to get red coloration....along with her belly.

I got her at the local reptile show back in October....this guy had a big tub of hatchlings all thrown in together with a $35 price tag on it. It was mostly snows, anerys, amels etc...but I saw this little gray head peeking out and asked if she was a bloodred....he said he didn't think there were any bloods in there, but when he dug her out he said she was a bloodred motley and must have slipped in there by accident....and gave her to me for $35 like the sign said :)

Time will tell...she's awesome no matter what she is...

Thanks for the compliments about Spike....he was the 5th and last hatchling this year out of 17 eggs...all the rest were dead in their eggs...but he's healthy and getting more colorful with each shed!

That would be awesome if she really were and you only paid that for her. She has a stunning color and pattern!

I guess I won't really know until she is an adult and I test breed her? :shrugs: I don't know any other way to know definitively...

I noticed the diffusion....but I thought maybe that could be attributed to the motley gene....

Something tells me she is a bloodred tho....the gray head and the eyes just look like it to me. Her belly is obviously patternless, but it's already about 50% orange....HOPEFULLY this is a sign of good things to come!

OOH! That a bloodred stripe?

:bang:

LOL He came from Jay and we strongly believe he is homo blood stripe. The parents had the genes to produce one. If he's not homo then he is deff het. He has some other hets too, amel anery hypo.

I looove your lavendar! Seriously love. And the bloodred looks like a classic-coloured bloodred... hope she stays that dark!)

That is quite a fantastic collection of beauties you have there--wow!! Spike would have to be my favorite, love the pattern!

I would have to agree with some of the other coments, that is a very nice collection of young'uns you have there. Can't wait to see your others on the website you are working on.
