crossed my Pr bloodred ( old school Bell stock ) X Pure okeetee. father daughter breeding F1 to a F2 breeding. I have 2 or 3 threads about this strain . well the bred today my first breeding of the new year. I'm going to see who else I can get to do the nasty. I hope this year is better than last.
 
Congrats Vinny! I guess I should start checking for females that have shed recently and see what their intended mate does with them. It's very early here for breeding to start, but since I didn't brumate, anything is possible!

Any chance of a photo or two of the pair? It doesn't have to be of the actual mating.
 
Congrats on your first breeding of the year, hope it goes well for you. I can't wait till my 08's are big enough to breed, I love seeing pippies hatch.
 
Congrats Vin!!, Wow the season kinda sneaked up on me, I'm gonna hold off a bit and give em some time to really cool down, temps here in MD have seldom gotten bellow 40 and that means my brumating space probably hasn't gotten below 55-60. Hope it cools down some more in the next weeks. How many pied-sided did you get last year?
 
none 08 was a wash for me. 55 degrees is plenty cool my animals dont go below 65. I dont brumate I also feed at this temp with smaller meals

My corns are out of brumation yesterday, will warm them up and give them a few meals, hoping to start pairing them mid February.

Here the same in Belgium . Last years my earliest breeding was on Valentinesday , Feb 14th = mid February .

it was not my choice. I put them together and they let me know when it is time to breed. I dont cool them down . when the temp. room goes down I feed less. then when the temps go back up I start to put them together.
 
Congrats Vinny! I've seen your posts where you talked about 2008 being a bust, glad to see '09 is off to a good start!
