Crested Gecko Hatchlings!! Fresh pics added today!

bekers71

What addiction?!
Today was day 57 for my two little crested gecko eggs and I figured we still had a ways to go before hatching. When I got home I took a peek, per my excited mothers request, and saw a baby inside the container! So I grabbed the camera. The second egg didn't so much as have a tiny slit in it, not one indication is was ready to hatch too. But with in seconds, literally, a head was out while I was taking pics of the first baby. My mom was absolutely ecstatic and has been waiting for this day. She's been wanting a crested since I got mine and decided to wait until I hatched some instead of buying from some one she doesn't know.

Dad is a yellow partial pinner and mom is an olive buckskin. :)

Pics 1 & 2 are the first baby
Pics 3,4 and 5 are the second one

They're both sweet! That second one is gorgeous. I'm looking to purchase a trio soon, where did you get your pair?
thanks, Kyle

Thanks for all the kind comments. I can't wait to see how these little guys/gals turn out. :)

I have 2 males, 3 females and 1 juvie and they all came from different places. LOL Some people on Fauna sale nice ones. I also like to go look on the Pangea forum. :)

Thanks guys! :)

Here's the new guys today after they are all dried off. Colors are very accurate in the pics. The last pic is just to show how big they are, the gecko isn't that dark. They are both so cute!

My god baby geckos are just the most adorable thing in the world. The second hatchling with his dark red coloration is to DIE for!

Very cute! They really are a pleasure to have as pets. We have only one but seeing these makes me want more...

Very pretty Becky its alwas fun to see wee ones running around the container. The red is probably hatchling red btw which many will keep for the first few sheds and lose ith adult coloration coming in between 6-12 months. Like snakes these guys can change a ton and others hardly change at all-its weird but alway fun to guess.
