Down with the sickness
Here are my SSS's. ;) A pair of Ringed Pythons. Never owned Pythons before we'll see how it goes!

When Nanci was being an evil enabler, she asked Robbie to guess what I was getting. With only the clue of "It starts with an R", Robbie blurted out "Ringed Pythons". Unbelieveable! :)

I love them, I'm so jealous. I just began researching them about a month ago, I definitely want one somewhere down the line. Big Congrats!

Nothing can contain my jealousy right now! Those are so gorgeous, and I don't get why I rarely see people showing them off. I really hope to find out more about them, and possibly get one in the future. HUGE CONGRATS!!!

Congrats, Carol! They look MAAAAHHHHVELOUS!!!! I've never seen anything like them before. Now I gotta do some research (Not that I want one... but just for self-edification purposes). LOL.

Are old are they? How big do they get? All these questions... LOL. I'll do my own research though.

Awesome!

They are so gorgeous, Carol! :D I like them! I'm also going to have to research them. They're very interesting looking!

Thanks everyone!

Hmm...those look interesting.

How big do they get?

Matt.

Awesome!

These are yearlings, they get about 6-7 foot. They are screaming orange and black as hatchlings but turn a more orangish brown (kind of like a rainbow boa brown) and black. They keep that striking black head and iridescence. I feel in love with them Saturday, did some research Sunday morning and totally caved. VinnyJ worked a great deal for me. :)

The male was shedding when he arrived in CA and I helped him a little bit. He gave me a little slow nip but released right away and was great after that. Felt the same as a corn of similar size would have felt but less scary since there was no drama with it. Just kind of a "You squeeze me there, I nibble you here" kind of agreement. We'll have to work on that. :)

And guess what? THE HUBBY LIKES THEM! :dancer:

They are beautiful!!! I'm so happy you got them! I'd go with Halloween or Day of the Dead names...

Aww, they are too sweet and cute for evil names. Maybe Jack and Sally.... maybe if Robbie names them some of his good luck will transfer to them. :)
