Photo Contest Donations & Volunteers

Book? What book? You're writing a book? What's it about?

You may have missed this in my original post due to your Dorfbunkle excitement!

Would you be interested in a once read hard-cover ( w/jacket)copy of: Mean and Lowly things by Kate Jackson ( no angels connection). A really cool book about a field biologist collecting herps in the Congo?
A slightly less than 27.95$ value.

I offered it as a donation, but haven't received any reply?

Because the Holiday Contest is at a close (voting ends the 26th), your book donation would go to the Winter contest which Matthew (blueapplepaste) is managing. I would suggest PMing him so he can add it to his donation list. :)

Ooooh! A book written by a bear would be a cool prize! I like it.

Why thank you I'm calling it:

"Does a Brent @#$% in the Woods? "

A compendium of stories about: narcissism, mass delusions, electric kool-aid and hibirds within the introverted world of herpers.

By the way did you see that there's a documentary coming out soon about us called "HERPERS"? I'll start a thread if there isn't one already.

I already started a thread on it. :D It has a link to the trailer in it, too.

Only if noone else is around . . . and then the question becomes, "Does it still make a noise?!"

D80
Well that's a good question and it is actually the title of the first story which happens to be autobiographical. I answer it at the end...spoiler...." Only if I say 'excuse me' afterwords"

The book will be released next year on the 5th Tuesday of the second month. The publisher is DORFBUNKLE LTD., an IOWA BOOKS subsidiary.

Just a friendly reminder to keep your eyes open for the upcoming Summer photo contest that Susan will be putting together. She'll obviously have stuff set up when we get towards the end of May.

There is also still an opening for someone to run the Fall contest.

I'll donate a pair of 2009 Miami/Milksnake phase motleys (I think both parents are motley) if the winner pays shipping.

Just a reminder...there is still no one to run the Autumn Contest. Any volunteers? Tome is running out...just a little more than 3 weeks before it's supposed to start.

If no one steps up I'll pick that one up too.

I think Brent needs to figure out next years schedule (since he was so good figuring out this years) if everyone decides to do it again. ;) Speaking of which...You three that volunteered for 2009...Game for 2010? :D

I'm definitely game for the same contest in 2010. I would pick up this next one, but with school starting on Monday, I'm just not going to have time.

I'll do the Summer one again next year!

And :-offtopic...when are your ghost stripes due to hatch?

Ghost Stripes already hatched, however their is only a single female that survived. The entire clutch save her went bad 2 weeks before hatching.

What a shame! That seems to happen to at least one clutch every year to just about everybody. You still have the pair of snow stripes available, correct?
