For those of you who wish to see it....there it is...my house. Soon to be someone elses!



I listed it around August 8th...and now she is pretty much SOLD! I accepted a great offer today. We were asking 119...hoping to get 110. I was offered 105 but they would take it AS IS...no repairs, closing in two weeks, cash sale, and only a back out if there is catastrophic termite damage! I am on cloud nine!

I should be walking away with at least 26 grand in cash and possibly as much as 30 grand after taxes and fees.

I am using that money to clear all my old debt and to pay for the rest of my eduction and maybe get some more snake cages and my dream ball python morph...a pied!

Anyway...that is my super exciting news!!! HORRAY!!!
 
Congrats on the sell of your house. I looked at the pictures and I can see why it sold so fast.....I liked it!
 
YAY! Congrats you two, that is great news. I like your big dream plans too, by that I mean the Pied :)... Oh yeah, the education and debt relief is nice too!
 
Congratulations! Wish it had come in time for Daytona, but there's always next year!! I can't imagine what corns I would buy if I could just go buy any one.

Not needed. I talked her into moving here to Baltimore, and I own my townhouse here. Eventually we will sell this dump and move to a nice country house in the woods, with room for our snakes and dogs and no irritating white trash idiots fighting in the streets outside our living room window. ;)
 
i say why buy a pied. but a pair of nice het pieds. of a pied and a het. that way you can always make your money back on the investment. thats how i see it anyways. congratulations.

Of course, I was being facetious with the Pied comment. To have a the finances to be comfortable will be a huge sigh of relief, and that is the greatest part. It's a well deserved time in your life to focus on you, and the future possibility of living in a peaceful environment.

The Pied is still an awesome perk though :)!
 
That's awesome news!! Selling houses right now is iffy, but you have, excuse me, had such a nice house that I can see why it went pretty quickly. I'm glad you can pay off debts and take care of education. What a dream come true.
 
Congrats on the selling! When I moved to FL my condo in CO sold in just under a month, what a relief that was - so I know how you feel!!

Although, in my case I was paying rent (mortgage) on the condo that my parents owned. They were the ones who walked away with $25k in their pockets - not me! :fullauto:
