New Rack from Rich Z!

RobbiesCornField

Bring it on.
Yesterday, I finally made one of my most exciting purchases in a long time! I have a piece of Serpenco in my snake room. That's right, I bought a rack from Rich! Photos of it have been requested, so here it is! It measures 7' x 4' and holds 51 sweaterbox tubs.

Thanks for looking!

I wish I lived closer, I'd pick up a rack or two from him...very nice Robbie!!

Thanks, Hallie! I don't know if he's going to have any left after the mass pickup on Friday, though. LOL

Wow! Now you need to get Degei so you can make pretty cage cards!!

I already have it, but I need to refill my color cartridge. And get pretty little plastic pockets to put the cards in. LOL

are the tubs a hard plastic? or are they more flexible like rubbermaid/sterilite/etc.. They look like a hard plastic.

Heather, I can answer that for you... those tubs are made of super hard plastic. Not flexible at all! I would be so scared of cracking one of them! They are VERY clear though!

Perfectly clear hard plastic! It's almost like having 51 mini-vivs! I love it because you can see right through them and peek in on the little snakies inside. :D

Oh my goodness. I would be floating on cloud nine with happiness for like the whole month..even all the way into the new year. Congratulations.

I definitely am! It's still so cool to look in the snake room and see that leviathan with all those pretty tubs and lovely snakies!

Congrats! Oh...all the snakes that that rack could hold!

I can't believe it's completely filled already! LOL

Now you own something that made a mans' back scream with pain!!

Enjoy!!! :nyah:

You just always find a way to rain on my parade. :grin01:

I'm really jealous, Robbie. But in a good way. I like the uniformity. So this must really open up some space for you? Almost looks like you created a nice reading cubicle.

So will you be able to put all, or almost all, of your snakes in this rack?

Tony must be very happy? It looks very neat and space-efficient.

I really like it, too. Although I wish I had been able to find my blue post-its. Then the tubs would have been color coded, too. :D

It completely eliminated this god awful blue rack that I absolutely HATED, so I'm pretty happy about that! Once Tim picks up his snakes, I'll be able to put 15 more in there, so it'll clear out one of my Reptile Basics racks (which is going to turn into a big incubator, and the rest of my mini-tubs. So yes, it'll definitely be opening up some space! Haha.

Robbie,
looks good, but like you said, be very careful with those boxes.
They break very easy and those may not be manufactured anymore.

I couldn't imagine dealing with all those lids.
That would drive me to :headbang:

It is cool that you have a non-living piece of SerpenCo though.
I have/had a couple printed pricelists from SerpenCo from around the mid/late 90's (95' - 98')

I say have/had, because I'm not sure if I lost them in Katrina or if they are in a box that was in the attic that we were able to salvage. I'm gonna have to check on that. I had some of Kathy's and Don's as well from back then. This is back when the internet/websites were not as popular as it is now.
Breeders used to mail pricelists out and have them on their tables.

Walter,
:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!
