We're on a bridge in the middle of the Suwannee River, with some little redneck kids telling us about some rednose/bluenose pup they had, that their grandma ran over, by accident, that didn't get around so good, that they used to ride around in a bike trailer, and they hit a bump and the dog went crazy and tore the trailer up, and it was fine for two months and then it died...Buh-bye!! Bella looks so worried!

That's too cute! I had no idea they made those for dogs. I knew for kids but not for dogs.
How'd it go? did you have problems with stability at all? And did Bella appear to enjoy herself?

how cute! I should start riding bike with my dog...of course my dog would probably fit in a basket on the handlebars.

So we only went for an hour. It was cold, and I was worried about my truck, since I was the only cyclist in the parking lot. The trailer weighs 23 pounds, and Bella weighs 50. It wasn't bad to pull, but I could tell it was there. Rolled and steered very nicely. Too bad my computer wasn't working, so I don't know how far we went, or how fast...

Thanks for looking!

From the title I was expecting to see a Harley. Bella looks great!:cool:The Rover is pretty cool too. Is there a mountain bike version?

Tom, it would hook right up to a mountain bike! All you do is take out the quick release from the back wheel and put it back on with this little hitch mount thing on it. It stays right on the bike, and you just connect the trailer hitch with a pin. It has a ball joint so the bike can lean against whatever, and the trailer stays flat on the ground. The whole thing folds up pretty small to go in the car. The floor is suspended over the axle, not right on it, to make it less bumpy. And a 24x36 dog bed fits in there perfectly.

It's very stable. Bella seemed to have a good time. Lots of sniffing and snorting going on back there. We passed one dog, and she didn't do anything. She liked the rest stop! She sat facing forward most of the time, and facing rearward a little bit of the time, and never laid down.

This is Bella right now. Um, which one of us was peddling the bike???

Awww, Bella looks adorable in those pics, very worried, like others have said!!

She definitely is having a good life with you!

This is how it connects. That silver thing stays on the bike, and everything else unhitches. I guess I was supposed to have that black strap wrapped around the chainstay...
