Well, folks, you can tell by the title that one of our beloved moderators has helped us out by making this thread a "KIDS & SNAKES" thread. Please do share your photos of your kids and your snakes. Should be fun seeing the next generation of snake-lovers take their first steps!

It has been so long since I posted pics of my snakes... and since my kids love the snakes as much as I do, I decided to post a few of them as well. Enjoy!

My "Niece-in-law" (LOL) with Sunny my Sunglow.

Isaac ALWAYS asks, "Can I have (Insert name of snake he's holding)?" LOL.

Nice snakes Fred. Kids aren't too bad either. ;)

LOL... Thanks, Becky. For some reason my two girls (Caitlyn & Amberly) haven't gotten into brushing their hair properly yet. I guess I should count my blessings!!!

Here are some of two captures. Both are Red Racers, but two different ones. Both bit me, but they were "love bites". :bird:

Red Racer #1. Notice his tail... not complete!

Another pic of him. He's such a pretty thing!!! Not as pink as the ones I caught last year, though.

Nice braiding...

Tebow (male) is Joseph's first snake he saved up his own money to buy and then he saved up again to purchase a breeding pair which are Taylor (female) and Swift (male).
This post made me realize I have no pictures of the boys with my snakes...I will have to remedy that soon...lol

BTW Great posting idea!!!!!!!!!!!!:dancer:

Thanks, Tonya! Great pics!

Whenever I get the snakes out for pics, I always get "hit" with... "Can I hold him/her?" Of course what better way to get the snakes to "sit still" than by having someone ELSE hold them while you've got the camera. LOL. Well, it works sometimes.

Kokoro is sooo incredible looking. It makes me want to get a Blue Beauty at the next show. All of your others are beautiful too and the kids are cuties. :)

Great to see the junior herping crews in action!
Thanks, J9! All of them, esp. Amberly, are on my heels constantly about getting them out and playing with them. I'm kind of afraid of the day when she has several handfuls of her own!!!

Thanks, Jen. Kokoro really is my "heart". She's simply amazing. A little over a year ago, she was just 18"!!! She's now somewhere between 5 and 6 feet long. LOL. When she sheds (and I KNOW that shed skin can stretch quite a bit), the shed is quite the "monster" itself. I wish there were a way to sterilize it so that I could hang it by her cage.

Funny thing... she is getting so large, she broke the little branch of the "Palo Verde" she was on. That's why her last pics were on a patio chair!

Great pics, Fred!!

I loved the pic of Caitlyn's "freak out"...priceless!

Thanks, Rich! Good to see ya on here again!

LOL... Yeah. My "Caity-bug" was fine until Freya started getting close to her neck... then she lost it. She's okay with my corn snakes, but would rather they stay in her hands! LOL.

Fred, you have some real nice snakies there. And...those really sweet looking kids make it all the more better! Nice family Fred.

LOL... of course I do! Some of them (5 - not pictured - THIS time) are from YOU!

Thanks! I never thought that I could love so much - then I found my wife and didn't think a person could love more... THEN, we had kids! LOL. Wonder what its gonna be like when I become a grandpa...

Very nice photo's!. It's good to see a family all participating in the fun times, especially with the reptiles. Not too may kids have the opportunity to grow up around different kinds of pets, so it's cool your getting everyone involved in the holding. When I was a kid I would have loved to see snakes like that, and I'm sure they'll grow to love them. Thanks for sharing!.

Very nice Fred, I really dig that blue beauty as well, and what a growth spurt! (Kids aren't to bad either, lol!)

Awesome shots Fred! Its great to see the collection after so long. I have such a soft spot for Kokoro! If you ever want to sell her, you know who to call... :D
