I think your photography skills are great! And those babies are gorgeous! The Pied...ugh! Beautiful! As for tips...maybe more light? And something to diffuse said light to help remove the shadows. Maybe muslin cloth or tracing paper?

I really like that shade of blue. It contrasts really well with the Bloodred. Wow! Those are some great shots. :)

Different snake on a darker background.
Thanks Rob

Oooh, I like these. The darker background definitely brings out his fantastic expression of piedness.

I don't have any photography tips other than don't take after me and put your finger in the pic, but from what I saw it is only me with this problem LOL.

I did want to say the 4th pic of your first post is sooo cute, I really like his/her head pattern, face, and cheek area.

Well, the background sure is real prutty... But why waste it on that ugly snake?:sidestep:

I vote for a blue bowl shot. Or a lights dimmed mirror shot with a fog machine, plus a lava flow and flames in the background. Other than that I guess it looks good.:)

The last one is the one i was telling you about.
I will send him up as soon as we get some decent weather.
Thanks Rob

Rob you know it's just plain mean to tease me. Look but don't touch. :nope: I don't think you realize how long winter is up here in the Great White North.

WOW.
That middle one has a veerrrry interesting pattern on his eye, makes it sort of look like a cat eye. I'd love to see if that follows him into adulthood.

Rob I think the problem is that the subjects (snakes) are distracting us from focusing on the background.:crazy01:
