Well, she's a most beautiful example of a bloodred! I'm sorry to hear about the mis-sexing of Ruby. That does occasionally happen. A few years ago I purchased an albino "male" and a het albino female hognose. Well, as it turns out, my "male" is actually a female. So that kind of put a damper on some of the plans I had with them. This wouldn't have been so bad had the male I purchased later not turned out to have no interest with the ladies. At least I have Berry, the eternal love machine. I guess everything I produce will be at least het for Pink Pastel.![]()
Ya know...I do have Mr. Simon (albino hoggie) who may be looking for love next year....
Well, in that case...You guys can be off topic- I don't care! It's all snakes!!
I still haven't gotten a bite (knock on wood). 3ish years and going strong!Nice bites Nanci!! I actually managed to go two feeding days in a row without getting bit...that's gotta be some kind of record!
Thanks Troy! She was a random show pickup and happened to be in a container with some granites that appeared to be clutchmates so we are hoping she proves out het anery this year. IMHO I also think she has turned into a stunning adult snake.Well, she's a most beautiful example of a bloodred!

Well Josh,
there are 2 types of snake keepers..
Those that have been bitten
and those that will be bitten..LOL
I'm sure you meant to post that Mr. Simon would be snuggly-warm in a brand-spankin new tank at my house by next year. Simple typo, I'd bet.Nice bites Nanci!! I actually managed to go two feeding days in a row without getting bit...that's gotta be some kind of record!
