They're back and ready to go! Here's Kalenya ('06 Aztec Opal who's currently slithering on the floor) and Freyja ('07 Serpenco Classic). Freyja has grown so much since I first got her, and Kel is 100g bigger! Unfortunately Kel (now using my keyboard as a hide) got some sort of skin infection that kept her out of the pics for a while, but now she back and healthy again.

One day it was really nice and warm outside, so I seized the opportunity for some outside pics before heading back inside for more pics of Freyja.

Beautiful pictures of beautiful snakes as usual!

Sorry to hear of Kalenya's skin infection, although it doesn't seem to have affected her beauty!

Best wishes,

Heheh, thanks. Yeah, she seems to have recovered very well. Some of the pics I took to document what happened are really kind of groteque though. I'm gunna go ahead and upload them tomarrow.

:realhot: WOW! Those are some stunning pictures! Love your snakes!

...are you a professional photographer? Those look really professional. I've taken a photography class (black and white though) and have many nature photography books, and those pics look like the same quality of the photos in those books. Good work! and Beautiful snakes!

Thank you all!

Actually, I've never taken a photography class in my life- it's just a self-learned hobby for me. I really enjoy taking pictures of these guys because it truly is a challenge to capture their color. (Especially Kel, don't even get me started on how hard it is to get her saturation among her plain white and I've yet to actually get her pattern...) I appreciate the thought, though!

Now you still need to take photos of all my kids for me...

Not to mention the gorgeous new rack my friend built for me.:)

They are still waiting for their forum debut!

After all, I did hold that pine branch when it wouldn't sit still!

Kel and Freya look lovely, as usual.

Shhh.... your giving away all my secrets... I do seriously need to get on that though... I think I might have some time tomarrow, but seriously, I take two hours to photo one snake, let alone 7! And then the photo editing.... :headbang: Maybe I just won't pay my half of the next mouse shipment, lol.
