He's lovely. I'm glad to see a well-diffused caramel.
I think expecting a sub-adult to have lost its pattern is less than realistic for virtually any animal. It's true that diffuse caramels haven't been as diffused as some other varieties, but it's my hope that this can change with line breeding.
He's growing up beautifully. I knew he would, and I'm delighted to see it. I'm betting he'll have good diffusion and beautiful colors as an adult. Personally, I'm hooked on caramel bloods and hoping to produce some nice ones. Good luck finding this guy a suitable mate - or three!
Hey Stephan I must say this one is a real looker.
I love caramelbloods and yours is definitely one of the best!
Tell me, when you breed with this guy
Greetings
Chris
Can't remember whether I've already complimented his diffusion or not, and I didn't have the time nor the energy to go through the whole thread... So anyway:
His diffusion is PERFECT! I think that's the best diffusion I've ever seen on a Caramel Blood - or any caramel-based Blood for that matter. And he's developped very nicely indeed.
Indeed, he is. Though we used to have cattle, and I never saw anything quite like him in the fields! :rofl:
I'll see what I can do about getting some better pictures up. He's quite gorgeous - metallic gold, bronze and pewter colors. I've named him Artephius after the ancient legendary alchemist. I definitely have plans for him!
@caryl
I remember a pretty impressive picture of his cowplops, your avatar is a perfect example for the serpenco cowplop line, I'm looking forward to the pics
