09 1.0 Caramel Bloodred poss. het. Hypo Lavender

Wow, ok now I KNOW I have to breed my amel mot het caramel stripe to my diffused the f2s would ROCK! (hopefully, my diffused has pretty good diffusion) You have given me another project to work on!

thanks folks, I was bored today so I took some more pictures of him. This session worked better than last session :laugh01:

I would show more pics but I have the feeling that most people here would be on edge if I'd do this :D

mostly, there aren't much reactions when I post something or just the same people write something. I think I'll be careful ;)

I have a different sort of question for you. How the heck do you get him to pose so well? When I put mine down, they slither and explore like crazy. He is just sitting there so perfectly!

He is still beautiful, btw :)

pretty easy:

put the snake on the set-up
put a bowl on it
go out, smoke a cigarette, talk to your neighbours, taka a shower, whatever
prepare your camera
be sure you're ready
put the bowl off the snake
SHOOOOOOOT!

works in 90% of all attempts, but don't forget that they are animals. They have good and bad days too, so you have to be bit lucky too ;)

Nice pics and nice snake once again, Stephan. You really know the trick. :)

I haven't tried your trick yet, but definitely will. Although there are a few problems. First of all I don't smoke...second of all...with my luck I'm pretty sure that when (after drinking two cups of coffee and polishing my nails) I eventually lift up the bowl I'd find out that the snake has pooped all over and is now smeared with smelly yacky poo.... :puke02:

LOL!

LOL!

I think that's a calculable risk :laugh01:

I wish I looked better with age, he is looking great. Could you take him to Hamm and send him my way for a breeding loan, PLEASE?
John

WOW, he has soooo much diffusion, he's looking great! I love that he still has kind of a silvery tone to his background. I guess my idea of Caramel beauty is caramel tones against silvery grey.

Also, thanks so much for the photography tip!!

Do you do your shoots on a stage? I usually attempt to cover them with something but when I remove the cup they are all pissed off. I guess I'll have to start using a heavy bowl, and leave it there for longer.

Thanks!
