"09" breeding plans

I am going to be breeding a Normal Zigzag het for Snow male with my Snow partial Aztec. I can not wait to see all of those Zig/Az babies!

You do understand that zigzag/aztec is not a simple recessive. You may get fully zigzag/aztec patterned babies to normal patterned babies to everything in between.

Yup, and all will be beautiful to me. I will be keeping a good bit of the babies I am sure.

Chris, I'm interested in the ugliest hungriest spare brooksi male you have. He'll be a pet and a garbage disposal so looks don't count for much! :)

I'm hoping my big axanthic male and my big hypo female pair up. They are both incredible garbage disposals, and I know their babies will just be monsters at eating. My male is a good 5', and he's a 2002. My hypo female is almost 4', and she's an '06. They never skip a meal...and they are both purty.

I'll keep you posted, for sure...

Lets see... I still haven't really sat down and looked at this yet (slacker that I am!)...

Should have:
Bloodred x Granite (testing out the female to see if she is het anery)

Miamis...haven't decided who I am pairing up with who yet. I have a male and female Huddleston miami, my miami phase girl that I bred this year, and Joe also has an Upper Keys male with a very "miami" look and I also have a miami x milksnake phase Huddleston female

Charcoal x Charcoal (testing out hets - both are poss het amel, bloodred and motley)

Hypo het anery/lavender/stripe x Hypo het anery/lavender/stripe

Possible breedings depending on if the females are up to size in time:
Reverse Okeetee (SMR) x Reverse Okeetee (Love line)

Lavender poss het bloodred/hypo x Anery het lavender/bloodred poss het hypo

Caramel x Caramel motley

Normal stripe het anery x Anery stripe

Blizzard x Blizzard

Corns:

Hypo Lavender het amel stripe x Lavender het amel stripe, poss het hypo

Amel het blood, caramel, charcoal, hypo x caramel het blood, amel, charcoal, hypo

Hypo Lavender het amel stripe x ghost stripe

Hypo Lavender het amel stripe x amel stripe

Hypo Lavender x Hypo Lavender

Anery het lavender motley x same

Granite stripe x ghost blood

And bps:

Het pied x same

Mojave x mojave

Mojave, pinstripe, pastel, x pastel

wow...you going to get some kool babies

I can never guarantee ahead of time what will be paired with what as I not only change my mind (first one to say anything derogatory about women and their minds gets banned ;)), but any particular female may not accept my first choice male, or I need to breed one male to 2 females that end up being ready at the same time, or any other thing Murphy throws my way. As it stands at this moment, I'm hoping for something along this line:

Normal het hypo anery Sunkissed X Normal het hypo anery Sunkissed

Anery het lava X Normal het anery lava bloodred

Anery het lava X Anery het lava bloodred

Hypo het caramel bloodred X Normal het amel caramel bloodred (if she gets to optimal weight)

Amel banded motley X Ghost motley (testing for ultra as pairing her with an amber produced all normals)

Bloodred het anery X Bloodred het anery

Pewter het amel X Bloodred (unknown hets, if any)

Bloodred het anery X Dilute anery motley

Amel stripe het hypo anery X caramel het amel (testing for het hypo stripe)

Sunkissed X Charcoal het pewter

Sunkissed X Dilute anery motley (if she makes it to a good weight in time)

Amel banded motley X butter (high white, may have interesting results in the F2, she needs to reach optimal weight)

Hypo motley het anery X Ghost motley (is she reaches optimal weight)

Amel motley het lavender X Normal het hypo lavender

Anery motley het amel hypo stripe dilute X opal (last attempt to have her produce a clutch as she failed to lay in previous 2 years even though I witnessed matings, the male fertilized another clutch and I felt eggs in her both years)

Ghost X Hypo Snow

Amel banded motley X Normal partial zigzag (testing for motley and her saddles lean towards the banded look)

And just for giggles:
White-sided black rat X amel het anery caramel (I have 2 females I might try with him)

Only Corns this year..

Ice x Lava het anery
Pewter x Pewter plus other girls
Phantom x Phantom plus other girls
Granite x Granite plus other girls (het hypo and het stripe, two male to choose from)
Lava x not sure yet.. too many girls lined up for him.. lol
Fire (later this year, depending on the male)
Ultra Amber Mot x Ultra Amber het mot plus other girls
Lavender het Ghost x Lavender het Ghost (too many girls for one male, so I will cross some with the Hypo Lavender male)
het Lavender mot x the same
Ghost BR's
Miami Mot x mot girl plus het mot girl
BRs, Hypo BRs plus BR stipe x het stripe BR
I also have fun Aztec project going too.. crossing my fingers on that one.. :)
