'10 Ghost Lavender Sunkissed!

So since you're all busy looking at his amazing color- did anyone notice the pattern??? This is why I love lavenders. Congratulations!

Good post Nanci, those patterns sure are indicative of lavender.

What a beauty. I love Sunkissed AND I love the Silver Queens. I am totally jealous.

At least all babies are 100% homo Sunkissed + Hypo + Anery (silverqueen sunkisseds), so I'd believe any different looking babies would be Sunkissed Ghost Lavenders.

Not necessarily, there is a good possibility that this is a Sunkissed Hypo Lavender..........NO ANERY and if it's a male that could explain the pink coloration.

Please no one take me the wrong way, this is an AMAZING looking snake what ever it is, but there are other possibilites of what this could be. The only way to know for sure is test breeding as Florian has planned.

Again, either way AWESOME snake Florian. I hope it does prove to be a Sunkissed lavender Ghost for you.

I am confused by this Walter. There is a 100% chance of anery if both parents are homo Silver Queen, since SQs are just line bred ghosts. The baby has to have anery, along with hypo and sunkissed.

No, all the babies have to be homozygous anery (in addition to sunkissed and hypo). The only gene that could possibly be called into question is lavender.

Florian, gorgeous critter!! I love gray snakes, and the pink overtone just makes this animal even better!

So sorry for the confusion, you are absolutly correct.....................DUH on my part. I don't know what I was thinking :shrugs:

okay the first of the suspected ghost lavender sunkisseds shed today, here is one quickpic.

Very neat!

Are these by any chance some of the cool adults critters from Rich Z's sale that never went public? If not...I had no idea you were that far on a project like this!

In either case...CONGRATS!

Gah! I thought I had all the genes I wanted to work with, but apparently I also need sunkissed. Geez, that sunkissed really kicks things up a notch! Congratulations!

He's beautiful! But you sell them short by not mentioning the Silverqueen part.
Sunkissed Silverqueen Lavenders.
