The word is THEIR..........it's a possessive.
not there, that is a place.
not they're that is a contraction of "they are".

It's THEIR.....

May I please point you to all the postings where people don't know the difference between "ad" as in advertisement and "add" as in addition? Being new here, I haven't had the nerve to point it out, but it is almost as annoying as the there, their and they're problem!

Oh, and I'm a horrible speller and have very poor grammar, so if I can catch it, you know it is bad.

Thank you for a great laugh today. I needed it.

Yes, I have seen that too. Doesn't bug me as much as the "there, they're, and their" thing. Might be because it is an abbreviation of both words, while "there, they're and their" have entirely different meaning!

And allllll those uninformed people who are afriad of "poisonous" snakes....that one KILLS me!!

Snakes don't get the urge to report posts out of sheer irritation, nor do the wish they were mods simply so that they could forcibly correct the poster's spelling and grammar whether they want to be corrected or not.

I think they are responding to Starsevol's comment. To be honest, either way, I think it was uncalled for.
