2 sheds in one night?

We got a 2010 Butter male, in June. He was in the blue when he arrived, and shed a good healthy full skin. He then shed a full healthy skin last night, and we removed the skin, he shed another full healthy skin after that, after that. I have never heard of that happening, has anybody else?

It's not one broken in half??

I'm not saying you're imagining things- just that no one has apparently ever experienced this before. It's very strange. I _have_ heard several reports of snakes crawling back into their own sheds, though.

Nope 2 complete sheds. I do not understand it either, that is why I posted it on here to begin with. I though maybe somebody else that has experience with a larger number of herps had seen it before.

he may be irritated by something and shedding to compensate. fungus, parasites, unclean conditions? i don't mean to knock anything in your set-up, but he may have come with a pre-existing condition. hope you find a solution soon.

Wow, 4 fuzzies seem like quite a bit of food. When feeding multiples you can run the risk of regurges. I would say if he is eating that much, it would be find to bump him up to hoppers. How much does he weigh? and How often are you feeding him the 4 fuzzies?

Perhaps your feeding amount and schedule is causing the excessive shedding because he is gaining weight too fast. This just my thoughts. However, I do highly recommend a hopper every 7 days.
