20th Snake....FREE!

Ok well today I hit the 20 snake mark and I got him for free! He is a Honduran Milk and is aprox. 6 years old. The previous owner fed him yesterday :headbang: so instead of bagging him I had to transport him in his 40g tank. He is a little thin but that will soon change. I just snapped a few shots of him in his cage for now. Better ones will follow in a few days.

Little bit thin? He looks in a pitiful state. I hope you can get the weight on him safely and slowly.

I noticed hes practically just two tone (red and black) thats rather unusual for a hondo.

Hondos aren't picky eaters, from what I've seen.
He'll get that weight on and then some.
Hondos darken with age unless they're hypo. Looks like he started out tangerine. He'll look better after he gets a little weight back on him, and sheds.
He looks like he needs a humid hide box or a big water bowl. Looks dehydrated and skinny. Should be much bigger at 6 years old.
They look MUCH brighter fresh after a shed. (Doesn't look like he's shedded in months!)

UPDATE!!

Well Kael is looking much better now. He has been eating 2 rat pups or fuzzies every week since I got him. Just a little more weight left to gain and he will be as he should be.
