A Little Rosy

So I fell in love with rosys when I was considering buying one a while back, I've been reading up on different localities and their needs. So when I found some Mexican Rosys at the show today, I decided to go for it. I'm a little concerned because the breeder said they've been eating live, but he is a good size and clearly has been eating well. The breeder thought he'd eat ft no problem, so I'm hopefull it will be a quick transition.

There were two different breeders with rosys at the expo, the one I bought was actually twice as much money as the other, but he looked SO much healthier and active then the other one, who was very skinny.

So here is my little Noah the boa (yes I was inspired by Nanci, I hope she doesn't mind)--they popped him and said he is a he!

Thanks gals! He is my only boa, and he has the most silky soft feel to his scales, and is SO calm, but still active and curious!

They are the softest squishiest snakies.
I have 6 of them and I think my big mexican girl Edison is my favorite.

Yours is really beautiful!

Thanks guys!
I hope he will thrive with me--today I couldn't find him in his tank, and I saw some fruit flies flying around in there. So I looked around and pulled him out from under his paper towel. Apparently he didn't like his hides, so i put a new one in and he is in there. He is in an old 20g tank that I had my first corn in, it has a screen top, so the fruit fly must have snuck in there!

What a cutie baby! You named him Noah??? I never call Noah "Noah" anyway, I always call her Noeeeeee. Can you see spurs on him??? Noah's favorite climbing tree is this hollow tree thing- he's in it a lot, and he has a hollow rock hide, and a big chunk of heavy wood. He goes under both of those. He doesn't seem to burrow. I like to feed Noah with tongs- he's the only one I do, and he just grabs his FT and coils it fiercely! I also put him in the bin before handling any mice...(Am I ever going to get used to calling Noee "she???")
