Gig 'Em Ags!! Whoop!!
Well I headed out to LCP really quick this morning after getting back from Texarkana, and had a little luck. My gf was with me to help out with the photos and the searching so that was kind of a cool new twist, and this little guy was just adorable. He had the rough, tough, watersnake/Nerodia attitude at first, but calmed down and was a fun little bugger to handle. Some people passing by actually stopped and asked about it to, so I got to play teacher for a few minutes. lol. A fun little Sunday morning...now its back to studying. Hope ya'll enjoy. I'll post more when I get my 35mm roll of film developed, these are from a P&S Kodak I have.

Yes ma'am. A Broad-Banded Watersnake, Nerodia fasciata confluens. A real pretty little guy too ;)

That's exaclty what I thought! The Nerodia in this area are just amazing. This little guy was a stunner...my gf even thought he was pretty lol :eek1:

Super cool water snake Payton. I love the coloration. All the water snake we have here are all a dull brown color, nothing that compares to that guy. Great find.
Jay
