Amel Milksnake Phase

Hi Rich,

I noticed you're not offering any amel milksnake phases this year. Have you completely phased out this cultivar? And are your crimsons the only tie back to the strain?

Thanks,
Edmund

Basically, yes. I could see no futher reason to work with some of the lines I have been in the past. I love the heck out of the Miami Phase, but do I really need to allocate the resources to a bunch of $25 snakes?

I will still probably produce some Milk Snake Phase corns, but only if they happen to fall out of my Crimson lines. I guess I should hang onto some of them (sheesh, no wonder I am overrun with projects), since they will be homozygous for Hypo as well. But all of the Amel Milk Snake phase adults I had were sold this past Fall. The only Okeetees I have are gene carriers (such as Hypo and Sunkissed). I got rid of nearly all the Ghosts besides the Silver Queens. Nearly all of the Miami phase except for one or two I couldn't bring myself to put into a bag and ship off.

This Fall I need to do another sweep to make room for newer breeders that need the larger cages. I figure I need to sell off between 200 and 300 adults PER YEAR to keep from having to build a larger building. :bang:

:crazy02: another big adult sale?

Yeah. Actually I made up a list of available adults recently for a guy getting together and order going to Germany. But no, I am not going to list them. Several reasons: (1) I think they will sell well at Expo in Daytona Beach this August. (2) Some people may want to have them shipped along with their orders of babies, and that dramatically complicates the packing arrangements in the box. (3) Most people what photos, and there's just no way I can do that this time of year.

Honestly, I think I am going to be sold out of some cultivars before I even get to Daytona. Sales have been pretty surprising after a dry spell earlier this year.

rich i really hope your tables are not near mine or you are gonna empty everything that goes into my pockets!!!

i am debating on whether or not i should even walk by your table

Yeah, but just think, you might be missing a LOT by not at least looking! I expect to have some real eye catchers there. Hopefully some wallet catchers as well.

Man, this is torture! Getting over there from CA would empty my pockets so bad I couldn't buy anything anyway. One of these years I'll make it..

Man...

Now I need to make SURE my wife comes....

That way I'll have someone to cover MY table while I am hanging out at Rich's!

:)

Oh, would I love to make that show!

There's just so much to do here and so little time to do it.

I'd really like to see Florida some day, it's one part of the country I haven't seen.

I'm with Carol :(

I do hope to be able to visit the Daytona show in the next couple of years..I'd just to meet more folks from here face to face :)

Going to try to work a family vacation in with a trip...tho my trip to Daytona in my college days wasn't really of the Family variety LOL ! :sidestep:
