an interesting substrate

Dang Chip, I'm really sorry to hear that. :( Call me if you need anything.)

Darin hits it out of the park. After 40 or so, it gets harder to clean and feed in a single evening. I now spread it across three nights. If you try to pack it in all at once, things get missed and you start taking too many shortcuts, IMO.

I do this same thing..

I feed based on size, so I do a few every other night, it's more fun, but more time consuming.

No offense, Kahman, but when you have lots (over ten, certainly over twenty) of snakes, moving them all to feed just isn't an option any longer. :)

Unless you have super powers like I do! I was moving over 100 snakes into their own feeding containers at max hatchling season this summer. Still moving 80. And I LIKE it! Even talk to Chip on the phone sometimes while doing so...

Sorry about the GF, Chip. Conflict over snakes just isn't worth it. If _I_ can find the perfect snake-loving mate, anyone can.

And I didn't get to know Cav very well, he was always off somewhere. But he seemed like a cool person.

There was a lot more at play, but she HATED my time with the snakes. If I spent my time getting away from her building birdhouses, she would have hated them too.

I got to know Cav and Tiff, they stayed at my place while visiting the area back in '95 or so. Nice folks.

29 here between me and my roommate. I feed them all and they all go into their own feed bins. 2 to 3 nights a week I feed one group or another. Have a system, enjoy your work.

Too bad the girlfriend had issues.

Well, seein' as it was 9 years ago, I'm pretty well over it. :wavey:
