Another noob question. This time about poop.

Haven't really seen anything about this but how often are they supposed to poop? Like one time after a feeding? Multiple times? I ask because I haven't seen poop around the tank from Lola yet. Then again, she was also last fed nearly 2 weeks ago so she could've pooped out everything before I got her or she has but it's in the hide with her. So, yeah, someone tell me the frequency, please~ :3

from what I have seen for corns one meal = one poop about 3-4 days.later, then nothing else will come out till the next feeding..

lol thats atleast what I have seen with my one corn.
my milk snake on the other hand eats one pink and poops 3 or 4 times!!
lol I think it verys by species..

Yeah, most take just 2-3 days. I always start looking after 2 days, to get it out immediately. And they only do their business once (usually).

Thanks for getting back to me!

Good to know she isn't constipated from the move. At least I won't have to constantly worry about her pooping on me lol.

I don't think they have a poop schedule.
John had one he brought out of brumation and hadn't fed yet and she pooped when he started warming her up. Lol.

Yes, well, I can't think of any animal that poops while they're like that so I don't blame her lol

Mine usually have one big poop per feeding, but sometimes a second small poop if I take them out for handling. And as far as a pooping schedule, mine will poop as early as two days after feeding, but that's only if I take them out because the exercise stimulates them.

I never handle my snakes until I know they have pooped. And when I do pick them up to exercise them and I think I am safe, it ALWAYS lands on me or some cloth surface that isn't easily cleanable. :puke02:

Hmmm... poop schedule... let's see. Almost always when they get into water, and almost always when you have them out on your clean clothes or sheets! That about sums it up :p

+....

freshly cleaned cages, freshly cleaned and replaced water bowls. EDIT...and wife....particularly after you say, "Oh she's a sweetie." And then "sweetie", for whatever reason flips the _______ (fill in the blank) out and defecates ALL over your wife. But that's not the best part, the best is the fact that the most of it hit cleavage and my wife's borderline screaming at this point. Against better judgment, I'm laughing...........hysterically!

Speaking of this crappy subject...

My green tree pythons have a regular schedule of about every 3-4 weeks. I think there was 1 month long stretch where my female GTP read the 3 Hunger Games books, a college physics book, my college evolution book, and possibly 1 or both of the Complete Chondro books. There were no courtesy flushes. :sidestep:

Ahhhhh I hope the couch was comfy that night, dude! :p

I guess I'll be seeing poop pretty soon. Today is feeding day and the mouse is currently thawing. I wait with baited breath. XD

She can't banish me to it. I sadly sleep better on it that the bed for some reason.

You have no idea how much this drives my wife insane! I've slept on couches most of my adolescent years and actually prefer them over beds. So no banishment here either, it's more like reward... "What, you mean I get to be comfortable, keep my covers, and not get kicked? The agony, I'll try to cope."
