Any problem keeping lizards and snakes in the same room ?

In glass vivs , maybe 5-6 feet from each other ? Do either species get agitated by movement/scent ? Was considering getting some crested geckos or bearded dragons to be more specific. Thanks.

You need to make sure no snake escapes...
Last night a leopard gecko managed to move from my hand over on top of Solaris' terrarium.
Surprisingly, that triggered a feeding response- she wanted FOOD when she smelled the Leopard gecko.

Of course the gecko was very safe but still... it wasn't expected.

As was already said, you will want to be extra cautious that nobody escapes or are out at the same time. But I have my Cresteds & my snakes in the same room, some of them in each others line of sight & while they will sometimes watch each other, they don't get agitated.

They're fine in the same room together and will ignore each other if not placed side by side. If you handle the lizard, make sure you wash really, really well, then douse yourself with antibacterial hand cleaner before handling a snake because even just a little lizard scent could get you bit... at least it did me, lol...

Thanks , already learned about the importance of hand washing when I handled my corn and hadn't thoroughly washed my hands after handling some chicken. Was quite entertaining watching him slowly trying to eat the lower part of my finger.

I had a similar experience handling corns and then the desert kings without washing not thinking about the fact the desert kings were usually given the hatchling corns which weren't gonna make it.. fun times.
