They are possibly my favorite snakes- visually speaking.
If only they were non-venomous!!
Amazing

Brandon has been wanting an eyelash viper, but I may have to try and talk him into a blue bush viper :p

I'm glad you like these pics, I love them and think they are possibly the most beautiful snakes, and the photographer made a real good job of capturing them...
And before you swap a mildly venomous eye lash for them, remember, there's no AV if these bite you so it's soggy thumb time.... Oooo eeerrrrrr..

What pretty snakes! I love their colors and their stubby noses :). Although I must admit--with no known AV, why would anyone take a chance with owning one? Even as pretty as they are? I guess I'm just too much of a weenie to bring venomous creatures into my household :).

I was actually shocked to see tons of youtube pictures where people freely handle these... it's insane, but apparently they are relatively docile.
Still, I would never take the risk.

I guess they are pretty much like sea snakes, never care to waste their venom on a human.

Wonderful photos...

and wonderful snakes!

If all of the cool little eyelash, bush, and other small, colorful, tree vipers were boids, they would be the most popular pet snakes in existence!
