Awkward Question...

Nanci, one grandfather told us (cousins) the cows were "fighting". But the other grandfather told me in calm wise terms what was happening. He even taught me how to tell when transpired the exact instant that the bull and his respective cow "accomplished" their connection.

I was speaking of girl cow on girl cow action! Of course I knew from a young age what animal mating was. I don't remember ever having been taught or explained that.

Oh my. Picture #2 is quite frightening! I think she plays slots at my casino, although we make her put on pants. But she fits right in, apparently uplifting undergarments when you are over the age of 50 are optional, regardless of breast size. We have one lady we call a "46 long".

Sandy Kane is her name, I believe and she lives in NYC. She used to be on Opie and Anthony sometimes, she performs by the name "naked cowgirl." Of course, there was already a "naked cowboy" who played guitar in a speedo and cowboy hat and boots, who is suing her. She is quite frightening.

My personal favorite (been holding out) :

Girl Cow.........on.........bass guitar

Note : There is a group, made up of four Girl Cows in action, called the Milk Pistols (after the Sex Pistols). They really rock. ;)

To return to task, though, I have found some fascinating information that I did not know!

From Ask.com, see below...

Question : "Do All Mammals Menstruate?"

Answer : "Not all mammals menstruate. The few that do menstruate include primates and apes such as chimpanzees some bat species and elephant shrew. The rest of the mammals simply build up a thickened endometrium upon fertilisation."

Some bats, and elephant shrews (not true shrews),...absolutely fascinating.

Now I have to go back and look at my taxa and phylogenetic trees.

Ahhh, it is so hard to find good female bassists! And the studded ankle band is just way cool.

In my absence the past few days I see that this thread had changed drastically...LOL.

Vetusvates, I greatly appreciate your sincere apology. I see now that it was indeed a misunderstanding. You see, I am a college student, and I came to own my first reptile EVER (after wanting one as long as I can remember) in October of 2013. I bought my corn snake "Paisley" and I have been smitten with her ever since. I'm striving to always be able to provide her with the best care that I can. She is very spoiled (can you spoil a snake..?). When I asked my question, I wanted to make sure that I would not have a heart attack and rush her to the vet in the event that she did, indeed, have a menstrual cycle.
I do remember the thread you mention, which is why I was all the more stunned when I felt that you were potentially insulting me. I had really appreciated you previous responses and their great detail. As I said before, I want to know anything and everything that I can so that Paisley can live a very long, happy life (aka, I ask a lot of questions).
I hope that you will accept my sincere apology as I have accepted yours, and I hope that we can continue to be "chums" and post on each others' threads.

Wow!!! Best outcome ever.

Well, Shelby, you have little to apologize for, but I accept.

As you see, from the first "ultramel thread" through this one, (and many posts elsewhere)...I can be all business, ridiculously silly, and all the spectrum in between.

I was fearful that you would not respond, and today am quite pleased. I do note that it took strong and noble character on your part to respond to a (sometimes) jack@$$ like me, and I truly respect that.

Wow. Sportsmanship of the Year Award goes to you!

LOL. I bet some were expecting pandas....but I prefer leafy sea dragons.
