Bad News... Nevermind

you know, I've pointed that out. I even pointed out my cat, who has bitten me too many times to count. it just doesnt make sense why a snake is so much worse.

Because snakes are evil demon spawns of Satan. Didn't you get the memo?

I can sort of understand with the boa, because they can and do get large enough to need 2 people to handle.

Funny I thought of Lori right away. She has always wanted a boa. This would be a perfect trial run for her. And given her proximity it's a great solution and a very kind offer. Katie, I'd take her up on the offer before she gets cold feet.LOL You know Lori will spoil that little brat rotten.:D

oh I know she will! that sounds like an excellent solution, actually. and of course, she would hopefully teach the pipsqueak some manners.

*cough*NO MONEY*cough*

lol otherwise, you would find me on your doorstep. IF it is possible, I would love to go to the daytona, and of course, I would expect an invite to see The Robbie's snake room! :grin01:

Oh, hell. Tell your parents to send you! :D You can't come back with new snakes if you have to fly there! Can't very well take 'em on the plane. (Although you might want to leave out the part of breeders being able to ship)

And of course you'd have an invite!

HA! they dont trust me anywhere within a mile of a affordable reptile, whether or not I can take it with me! they know I would find a way.

Katie, I'm only a few hours away, and you could visit as often as you want. He's be placed in teh guestroom, where only reptile guests get to stay. And he'll always be Yours, so don't let former situations make you feel leary. Offers of food donations woud be welcome, but I don't get the opionion that you'd take advanatage of me, so it's not really an issue. I'd love to help you out with him. DO you still have my cell #. There's no pressure, but call and let's talk. If you're comfortable with it, we can arrange it easily. I'd treat him like my own and gladly give him back to his mom when she was ready. I know you're going through a touchy situation with Chester. Rest assured, you won't be placed in that type of situation here. Think about it, and let me know. Me viv et su viv!

Thankee! I'll gladly offer food donations, and I know this wont turn out like Chester. Thank you soooooo much for offering to take him! (((((((((((((Lori!)))))))))))))) I'm really not trying to take advantage or anything, I just dont know what to do with him. PM by the way. ;)

you know, I honestly dont know whats going on now.... I just went and told my parents that I think I found someone who could take Kaden and they actually said that they werent serious! gah! you know, when someone lectures you for a half hour on keeping a dangerous snake and tells you to get rid of it, they usually are serious!! thank you sooooo much anyway, Lori, but I might not have to get rid of him now. of course, they may change their minds and decide they WERE serious, who knows. ((((hugs for Lori)))) you're a sweetheart!

After all that I'm glad to hear they weren't serious and it's great to see all the people willing to help you out that's so nice. By the way I love his name.

Oh what happened with Chester and your friend? Do you still have Chester?

yeah, I'm glad I get to keep my baby! though it was sweet of people to offer for him. ^^

and so far, I've still got her, now the friend says someday "down the road" she may ask for her back, but I'm fighting for her!

Congratulations!

Just make absolutely, positively, SURE that none escape, lol! That would really seal your (and your snakes') fates living with you parents! Sounds like you and your pets are going to have to be on super good behavior from now on. No biting - maybe you better make sure you always have the head end in your own hand if you let anyone else handle them. They are more likely to bite somebody else than they are to bite you, since the other person will be less likely to know the proper way to handle them.

Good luck!

I really only have the one biter, nobody else has ever even looked threatening. The daycare adore Chester, my adul amel, and she's just a big lazy-bum, so they get to see her pretty regularly. but NOBODY but me touches Kaden. ever. I dont really care if I get bit, but he's not biting anyone else.

and yep, one of the conditions on my snakes is that if one ever gets loose, they all have to go. my Dad's rule, of course.

thanks!
