Big Night

ssmith_1187

In the land of Cheeeeeese
A family emergency called me out of town for the 5 days. Yesterday was my first day back home and it was feeding night for Roxanne.

I knew she was going to be hungry and was going to be over 90 grams, so I bumped up her pray item size just a tad. While feeding her I noticed a bulge near her cloaca so I knew she was getting ready to duppa soon.

Well I feed her and put her back in her viv at around 6:00PM last night. I checked on her at around 8:00PM. Not only had she defecated but her tunnel hide was over turned. I’m thinking to myself, what the heck is going on so I turned on the light and there was a complete shed lying in her viv.

So yeah, it was a big night for me. She must have gone blue and cleared in my absence and it was nice to know Mother Nature was still doing her thing :)

Regards,
Steve

What, no fecal sausage? :grin01:

Steve, you are now obliged to grace us with a "freshly shed" photo of Roxanne.

No- it's _good_ when they poop in their shed! The trifecta is when they poop in their shed in their feeding bin.

I know...but I kept imagining a little spirit of Dale hovering over my shoulder whispering..."Fecal Sausage...Fecal Sausage". :crazy02:

It's actually what I needed after a long weekend.

Steve

She certainly is loverly!! An Abbott's is on my "list of snakes to get eventually". I love the super wide black borders and the bright contrasts on the Okettees.

What is funny (or sad depending on how you look at it) is that a feed, shed and poo in one night is a huge deal in my life too! :)

I thought it couldn't just be me! I still get excited over every shed, and relieved at each successful feed. (I chart everything apart from the pooping)
