Colonel Slithers Jun '08 Abbott's Okeetee - Progression Thread!

Argh, Jen, you are killing me! The Colonel is exactly what I want in an Abbott's . . . super thick borders and yellow background . . . every time I see his pics I start to hyperventilate!

lol sorry. I'll have to have a talk with him about being so bright!

He's not too "bright" in the head though. I fear he's so tame now that he forgets to hold on. I swear, he would fall onto the floor if I didn't hold onto him.

I updated my little graph here...
You would think I wouldn't dare make a graph after I get home from work, but you would be wrong!

The gap from April is just because I didn't have a scale...I returned a crummy one and got a better on when the dots pick up again.

Double post!

'cause I had to add these post-feeding pics from tonight.

Here's Mr. Fatty Mc Fat-Fat backing out of his flower pot because he doesn't fit anymore. I know, I know, I need to get the Dremel back out...

Colonel Slither's looks amazing Jen, thanks for updating! Your Okeetee is incredible too Goldtop, those two are exactly why I want to get an Okeetee.

Update!

Look who is now 106 grams and ~28-29 inches (he was stretched out along his viv):

Also, I switched back to aspen. He likes to burrow in it, and he couldn't burrow in the sani-chips.

everybody should have one!

I can't believe how much he's been growing since I upped his food size. He has doubled in weight from when I first weight him end of march / early april (52 g).

OK I have a Colonel Slithers update!! I haven't been around in a while, so it's time!!

He weighed in last week at 166 g before feeding. Just measured him tonight and he's about 32" long, give or take for squirm factor. I took some pics of him hiding & climbing around a mason jar & a blue bowl. Def not the best pics, but you get the jist!

I updated his graph where I was tracking his food size & his weight. Some of the food weights are off a bit due to water weight, but I did my best.

Enjoy!

The Colonel's growth progress:
