Unfortunately, no it doesn't. Supposing the pet store owner is an idiot and doesn't know what he's selling. His price is going to be based on his purchase price of the snake. Typically a 100% markup (he most likely paid $20 for that snake). Now convince me his wholesaler sold him an Opal for $20. Suppose the wholesaler is an idiot. He's going to sell his product for the typical markup of 100% (he purchased it for $10). Now convince me that the supplier to the wholesaler sold an Opal for $10 . . . That's a lot of supposition . . .
Let's say the pet store owner bought it from a customer . . . IF the customer purchased it as an Opal, there's no way they sold it to the owner for $20, or even $40. IF the customer bought it somewhere else (mistakenly) as an Opal, see the above scenario. That's even more supposition . . .
OR, it's a typically high-colored, average priced, Snow. No supposition needed.

Just noticed she lives in Missouri...... based on my experience.... anything is possible. There aren't alot of breeders in the area... knowledgeable breeders even fewer... my Sunglow came from a Missouri breeder, who obviously didn't know what he had or I wouldn't have purchased Tessa for $30.
You may be right and it maybe simply a lovely Snow, but anything is possible in this area...
Where in Missouri are you, Candy?
