I know, it sucks for people to tell you that you aren't caring for your animals properly.
It does! Especially when you are caring for them properly...

You can! Unless you have given away took much in the last 24 hours! And yes I am awesome!

Well I believe that I will do whatever I see fit in the future...
(refering to anoles)
I raise them outside in our sunroom.
I have the swine flu. No joke. I have to stay home and not go out.
This is what gets everybody fired up. You won't admit that you were wrong. You don't really even have to do that...just don't try to rub it in our faces that everything was OK in the first place. It wasn't. David, help the girl out...you were really good at this same tactic back in the day. Stop saying everything was fine and just continue to fix the problems. Easy enough...

As far as a room heater goes, that sounds fine, although I personally don't agree and think snakes need belly heat, ambiant room is what the big dogs use. However I feel sorry for you if they are in your bedroom...going to make it tough to sleep that warm!
She seems like an intelligent girl! Look at her links.. she writes for a newspaper (or something!! haha).
The thermometer won't control the temperature, just register it. Unless you are there all the time the heater is on, you will be risking your snakes getting too hot.I don't need a rhetostat, I have a thermometer my mom got from her work. It has suction cup probe things. They used it to make sure shots are cold enough.
As I have stated this WHOLE time, I don't need UTH's now because I have my space heater.
I already told her Airenlow. Whippet many breeders including BHB use a room heater. I used to use a room heater but my room became unbearable so I got some heat tape!
Yep, thats why I am gonna cut it off at night during the summer and only leave it on in the winter. The temps in my room JUST NOW got up to 84, so I shut off the heater and just opened a window. Its cooling down, but not to much. Hopefully it will stay about 80ish.
It's a newspaper. The blog is just a "companion" to it =)
And yes, I admitted the mistakes I made and will try to fix those. The heater is off now with the window open and its 82. I may just start leaving a window open, cause the space heater really heated up my room to about 90 before I shut if off. In winter, I'm sure it will be used a great deal.
