So, I was looking at Craigslist for any Snakes that may be available, when I found this little guy for free less than a mile from my house. Additionally, I got the whole 10g setup for $20 (tank, screen top, bowl, bag of aspen bedding, lamp, fake tree, log shelter).

I also have a WC Miami.

Here's a picture. He/She is about 10.5" now.

WHAT Kind of Corn would you say it is? And what varient characteristics do you see? I did do a some research, but I am only a beginner as far as identifying the type(s). I figure it's a normal with some kind of morph(s). What do YOU say?

Yeah, My friend gave me the idea to check craislist. He has a collection of free or cheap snakes from there. In fact, he got a free bearded dragon, and traded it in a local pet store for a Peruvian Milk!

Do Normals look different CB than WC? (I'm assuming there are wild Normals)

Depending on the area they are caught in, wild normals can have very different color variations; from light to dark to bright to dull to almost striped... the variation of color and pattern among normals is astounding. He's very cute! Congrats on the new guy :)

Craigslist is great! One of my normals (and my cat) was a Craigslist freebie, too. And he's definitely a great looking normal.

ah..good old craigslist..best deal spot around for reptiles..lol...Great find though! and congrats on the new family member :0)

Not only did I get Cyrus for the $15, but about 1 month after getting him I found a 30 gallon Ex Terra Viv ($200) on there. She traded me two Bronco/Chiefs tickets for it. It also came with more hides, a huge climbing log and tons of other stuff! The only thing I went and bought was some greenery for Cyrus to get lost in! I think I definately got the better deal (the tickets were only $79 for the pair)!

I love Craigslist!
