Yes they did make me wait!! The mom is bloodred unknown hets and dad is normal cube unknown hets. Both parents were bought from pet shops.
 
Congrats on the pips!

They should all be normal het Diffused, unless the sire is het for Diffused. (And any other mutal hidden hets there might be).
 
I am okay with that! This is all new to us and It's just exciting that this is the first clutch plus the surprise factor is killing me!

I'm not an expert, either, but that head resembles the pattern my hypo-bloodred had. There were different body colors, but LauRuffian, I think you may be right. :)
 
If they have no belly checkers, they are diffused. But they can have the reduced head pattern while still having checkers. The head pattern alone does not prove diffused.
 
What else can the reduced head pattern indicate, if it indicates anything at all? I've not seen normal babies like that before.
