Daytona Adult Pick-Ups

Susan

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
First off...the 4 adults I purchased from Jeff Mohr:

Ziggy - Female lavender originally from Tim Rainwater
Shere Khan - Male lavender - SerpenCo surplus and HUGE!
Mystery - $13.50 Female normal with unknown hets (Rainwater origins)
Walter - Male granite bred by Walter Smith

Here are my CCCorns additions:

Josh and Taylor - A pair of adult anery motleys het dilute that Connie was gracious enough to let me have for basically a song! Thank you very much! They are absolutely gorgeous! Josh was more interested in trying to explore than to hold still for a moment so I could get a decent pic of him. But I'll get more once he settles into his new home.

And some of Josh and Taylor's '06 babies:
Tramp is the male anery motley
Peg is the female snow motley
Lady is one of the female dilute anery (aka blue) motleys

More CCCorns pick-ups:

Perdita - the second female dilute anery (blue) motley
Supercali and Docious - a pair of '05 normals het hypo A, Sunkissed and anery. (I hope I have them marked correctly Connie...The female is the larger of the pair, correct?)
Adelaide and Toulouse (formerly Marie and Talouse - I already have a Marie so looked up The Aristocats and picked another female character to name her after, and found the correct spelling for Toulouse) - '06 pair of normals het lava, anery and diffuse.

Very nice pick-ups, Susan. Walter is absolutely stunning. Of course the snakes from CCCorns will be a super addition to your Blue Steel Motley project. I've been following the Blue Motley threads, and need to put them on my "wish list." They are really neat. Congrats! It was fun to see what you got. Thanks for posting pics.

Last pair of CCCorns hatchlings:

Duchess and Berlioz - '06 pair of anerys het lava and diffuse.

The last 3 pairs I posted are project gifts from Connie. I'll do my best to fulfill the projects and you have first pic of the ultimate babies! You're terrific!

jzal8 - I haven't weighed him yet, but I will when it's time to feed him and I'll let you know!

Joe - I haven't decided yet exactly who I'll pair him up with. I'm not sure how my pewter male will be by this next breeding season, so this guy may get the charcoal het diffuse female. I may use my other het diffuse male instead, however. Haven't decided. I may breed this guy to one of my ghost females, or even a lavender female.

OMG Susan give me that first Normal, shes Stunning!! Great pick-ups there, very nice

Hey, another snake with a white nose! (Granite). They are all gorgeous!

I wonder; do you sharpen the pics with Photoshop or something? Most snakes shave a 'metal' or 'sharp edged' shine which reminds me of photo's being sharpened. Or do you oil the snakes before taking pics, like with male muscle shows?

Wow Susan! Great pick ups all the way through. They all look spectacular. I am with Joe - can't wait to see what you hatch out next year!
And must say...loving the Disney character names...especially from the Aristocats...one of my fav. Disney flicks!

Those are beautiful Susan! Looks like everyone had a great time in Daytona this year. I so wanted to go, but school kept me out of it. :( Maybe next year, eh?

Blutengel - Yes, I do use the image sharener on my pics. When I resize them, they lose a bit of the quality, and the sharpening brings alot of it back. Here is the same pic, resized without and then with sharpening. (The one has been cropped and both have had minor lighting adjustments)

ArpeggioAngel - The Disney names are Connie's idea. She had already named her project holdbacks and I just kept most of the names (had to change one). I continued her theme when naming the 4 Josh and Taylor hatchlings.

Yep, Supercali is the larger one with the prettier coloration. :)

Glad to see they made it home OK.

Yeah, I have Toulouse down as Toulouse here...must have gotten sloppy when scribbling in their names originally. LOL

:grin01:

Lovely snakes! All these Daytona threads are making me jealous... nothing snakey ever happens on this island LOL.

Nice granite. Especially that nose. Is it really a white nose scale or is it the light?
It's a white nose scale and not the light. I'll have to see what happens after he has his first shed for me.
