Daytona and Pre Daytona Pickups

So what did I break my "No Purchases" rule for you ask? Well I just couldn't pass these guys up, because I NEED them... yeah, need... :D

First up is a little male to go along with my female intergrade. I just love the reduced black and is as close to an Applegate as I'll probably get without selective breeding of my own...

Flame, 1.0 '08 Pyro

The second purchase is my first step into the Old World Rats...

Ping, 0.1 '08 Chinese Beauty

I also had two sweet hatchlings delivered to Daytona by Susan, (Willis Wildlife Ent.), who's genes will be put to great use...

Before Daytona, I received these two from Brent, (Drizzt80 of Dakota Corns), and they too have awesome genes to work with...

Thanks for looking :D

Ping is way cool! First Beauty I've ever handled, can't wait till you get Pong!:cool::cool:

Me either! She never stopped cruising when I took her out today, and I even tried Kathy Loves snake treadmill to try to wear her out, but she is all about exploring with that long blue tongue flicking like crazy. She made it a challenging photo shoot, for sure.

Beautiful snakes! And i love the photography too... Looking at that beauty put tears in my eyes, though. I wish i had mine... :(

Thanks, after having her out again today, I can tell she'll become a, "walk around the house with" snake.

Flame's cool. Love the red.

After seeing these snakes, I must say
you were totally right to break your "No Purchases" rule. :)

Congrats, Capt! All of them look really awesome. However, I'm partial to Ping! I was actually watching my VBB shed just minutes before seeing your post... so I know how these "beauties" can grab your heart strings. Ping is quite pretty.

Never had a "Chinese Beauty" before... She seems much smaller than a VBB hatchling. Any info?

Of course the corns look great too. Love the snows especially.

Have fun with the new ones! They look GREAT!

Fred

Very nice!
I really love that Beauty.

Thanks, I made a crazy offer after talking to the breeder while holding her for about fifteen minutes, which was answered by a yes and an offer to visit the facilities if I'm ever over their way in southeast Florida. Road Trip! :D

Wow, wow, wow! Put me on the list for that Pyro's offspring!

Thanks! I hope to get this gene into my Pyro Pyro X Knoblochi line soon. It should make for some very interesting offspring I hope :D

Thanks, I think I did pretty well since I usually end up with a whole lot more. :D Daytona is usually so overwhelming, and if you go with a list, it usually gets rewritten with every isle... at least for me, lol.

Thanks, The Chinese are a little bit smaller than the VBB's and the breeder said his adults are between 5 and 6 foot max. They're also thinner than the other Beauties... On the sites I've been looking at for the past couple years have them listed as a great first step into Old Worlds as they are very docile and stay that way without as much handling as the others.

Ping is adoreable! Old world asian rats are awesome!

I just love them, and I've been waiting to start crossing some of them off my want list... One down, five more to go.... :D

Awesome Chinese Beauty! The problem with crossing off your list is you never get to #5. You end up seeing new stuff you want and keep adding instead of subtracting!! :grin01:

Lol, yeah that's usually true with Morphs, but these are the same six Old Worlds I've been watching the prices on for a couple years now... They're finally getting into my price range... :D
