I need to take some pictures of Connie's leopard geckos. Honestly, she's having a tough time dealing with the idea of getting rid of them. I told her she can keep whatever she wants, but she realizes that it will tie us down. I know she's going to miss them a lot, though....

Anyone interested in a mouse colony, cages and all? We've got something like 300 cages set up. Anyone interested will need to pick them up here, of course. I figure $5,000 for everything will be a more than fair price. This is a limited time offer, as we are planning on killing all the mice in a few weeks (at best) as we just won't need them any longer.

And when the adults are gone, I will have all those shoe boxes, sweater boxes, racks, water dishes, etc., etc., that I will need to move out of here. Matter of fact, those five racks I use for the babies in deli cups could go right now, if anyone is interested. Again, most of this stuff really is not shippable.

Are your biggest boxes (for racks) 28 / 32 qt. size? Or do you have some bigger ones, maybe comparable to the Vision ball python racks with cb 70 tubs? Some of my biggest corns have always seemed cramped in the 28 / 32 qt. size. Wouldn't mind upgrading them. We will be driving by Tallahassee in about 3 - 4 weeks.

BTW - Gino (Lost World) and I are doing some joint projects with some of the babies / yearlings I got from you in Daytona. He was very impressed with the babies I brought to him. Thanks!

OK, great. Did you see my video of the facility to see what size they are? I only use rigid plastic sweater and shoe boxes.

Kathy, I never liked those tub type of cages and always preferred the older rigid plastic types. So that is what all my racks are designed around. Might not be what you are looking for, as these are smaller than the tubs. A bit on the small side for full adult corns, but most don't really care as long as they are fed on schedule. Breeding season can be a problem as males will sometimes be VERY insistent about going out on the town..... But heck, I've had snakes damage their noses even in 55 gallon aquariums that I use to use back in the old days. Pretty much depends on the animal moreso than the actual cage they are in.

If you saw the video I posted of the facility, that will show you what I am talking about.

No problem - never hurts to ask! I already have lots of the Rubbermaid tub racks, so would only be interested in bigger cages.

Thanks! Hope the rest of the plans go well. Then we should be seeing a lot more of you around here, lol! (at least, maybe after you get a nice vacation in, once you have no animals left).

Yep, I saw it! I'll have enough money to make an offer and drive over to get them around the 14th or so (if that works for you).

What's the dimensions on the racks themselves?

Heck, I'll try to remember to measure them, but I do recall that they are all 7 ft. tall. Width is about four feet and depth is enough to fit sweather boxes comfortably, so probably around 1 ft or so.

I can't think of anything planned on the 14th, so that would work. The only snag that might be REAL significant is that the snakes will have to be gone from whatever rack(s) you want. So we'll have to play this by ear..

By ear definitely works for me! If you want, I'll be able to Paypal you the money then, and then when the racks empty out, I can come and get them.

Robbie, you can just wait and pay for them when you pick them up. I wouldn't be in any hurry to get the money.

Robbie, are you sure you want Rich to take out ALL of the snakes from the racks you are picking up? You never know who might be hiding in the corners...
