A pearl corn, hahaha, there is only one still alive today that I know of and Rich is not the one who has it, unless it's stuck away where he can only see it, which would make 2.

It would help

It would help to know just what a "Pearl" is genetically. I don't know of anyone who really knows....or will say.

About the Pearl Corns....

Just so happens that I have a few that look like they are turning into the pure white of the Pearl Corn. I checked the records, and it appears that this may very well just be a form of the Amelanistic Lavender (Opal) that originates from Miami Phase looking stock. Now where is that darned camera......

Now how predictable it will be to have juveniles turn out that way is anyone's guess. I was going to breed them together this year, but decided that breeding them to Amelanistic Blood Reds might be more interesting down the road a bit.

Man, I'm going to have a TON of keepers this season!

Pic please

Rich I hope you can find your camera...I would really like to see a pic of one of your pearl corns

thanks :)

It's kinda sobering when you take a poll like that and end up clicking every single option...hmmm, having all of those snakes...
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? LOL

Looks like the caramel motley I just got from Rich
Not entirely surprising...that's where I got mine, as well, just a few months ago. At the same time, my girlfriend got a Silver Queen...she was just in love with that the moment she saw the pics on Serpenco.com.

Personally, I'd like to get some ambers and more caramels...I just love the hue; I don't know why. And lavs, of course. :)

I wonder how well the six degrees of separation concept would work with the current cornsnake population?

Rich-

I would really like to see a pic of one of those Pearl Corns as well-and also the length. Please...... I have an Amel Lav and it's much whiter than any of the pics I have seen.

Thanks

Poll missed one of the prettiest morphs...

As usual, Charcoal Ghost is overlooked. :(

Doesn't anyone other than me (and Rich) have any? (They're also known as Phantom.)

Don't have one but would like to get one (or more- I prefer the dark eyed morphs). I saw some pretty ones from Rich at Jacksonville and was tempted.
I'm thinking of trying to brew some of my own. Aren't they the F2's of charcoal X hypo? If so, I have those ingredients.

How do you do that quote thing? I tried guessing and it came out horrible.

You can use the quote bitton in the lower right hand corner of someone's post to quote their post in you reply. Or, just use the vB tags to make your own.

I tried that quote thing in the corner and tried to edit the part I wanted and I didn't do something right. It didn't look like everyone elses.

Ghost Motley

I know that this thread has gone on a little bit since the original question, but I believe you were asking for a pic of a ghost motely. I included a picture of a ghost motley hatchling I got in as a problem feeder... enjoy!
